To ensure reliable water deliveries will continue well into the future, we are investing to upgrade and replacing aging infrastructure in our water system.

BCID is part of a local coalition of water agencies creating a roadmap to sustainably manage local groundwater supplies.

About Banta-Carbona Irrigation District

Banta-Carbona Irrigation District (BCID) provides agricultural irrigation water supplies to farmers growing over a dozen different crops on approximately 17,500 acres in San Joaquin County.

Crops grown within the area served include almonds, walnuts, cherries, grapes, olives, alfalfa, corn, tomatoes, beans and sunflowers. 

Our District is part of California's great Central Valley, where more than half of the country's fruits, nuts and vegetables are grown.
