About Our District

Banta-Carbona Irrigation District provides agricultural irrigation water supplies to farmers growing over a dozen different crops on approximately 17,500 acres in San Joaquin County.

BCID is a contractor on the Central Valley Project (CVP), providing up to 20,000 acre-feet annually from the Delta-Mendota Canal to meet the needs of local growers.
